it was a good start in general. i had fun with the girls at CQ. just a teeny weeny but, one thing didnt really go in my favour. well, i kinda expected that since you cant have everything your way and my texts were pretty much general anyways. oh well.
anyhow, met up with peggy at amk before taking the train to dhoby ghaut. amk mrt was exceptionally packed with partygoers (i presume) and urgh. i hate crowds. i know im supposed to be young and the young loves crowded places in general. sadly, i dont. i think im a 25year old stuck in an 18year old body (or maybe 14, *looks down at bust*). HAHA. i think im too rational sometimes.
okay, peggy had mos burger for dinner while we had subway. PS was flooded with youngsters as well. went to the washroom before heading over to CQ via train. oh and i wonder why PS' toilets smell like shit every single time i go??
okay, so we walked arnd to kill time before trying out at places to so called party since everywhere was packed. was refused entry at this place cos we werent 20 yet. s'okay, im in no hurry to hit the big 2-0. waited for arnd 45mins at Hooters before we got seats. peggy was whining non stop about how slow their service was. hahaha. ordered, ate, chatted, laughed, giggled (not me, i dont giggle. hahaha). oh and we saw fireworks from dont know which direction. should be marina bay?
so we were there for 2 hours before heading opposite to chat and all. was feeling like shiat, tipsy and all. waited for mn's friend before walking back to the centre area where there was countdown celebration. but when we were there, they were already packing up. hah. so we walked aimlessly arnd before settling at Highlander since there were seats.
so some of them ordered drinks, some went inside to dance while i sat and stoned. saw wei siong, his phone was dead so he joined us while waiting for his friends to arrive. they took like agesss?!
anyhow, it was 6am by then so it was home sweet home! so the first day of the new year's well spent with great friends and it will get even better. hah, i hope so!

the rest of the photos will be up on facebook!
