you know how the relatives would always exclaim w/o fail how fast we've all grown up during every CNY? i used to find it amusingly irritating. i mean, i dont think ive changed that much and one year isnt that long.

BUT, i kind of understand how and why they feel like this now. cos, they're too preoccupied with each and every nitty gritty stuff in their own lives to even notice whats going on outside.

i derived the abovementioned theory from the fact that i was browsing through my mum's phone and i saw this kid's pic and i could barely recognise him now. he's grown and changed so much and when i recalled, it's been two friggin years since i saw him. and you know how fast kids grow, so yeah.

another sad part about growing up. sighhh

anyhow, life's been grand. saw ethan on sunday. bought him yan yan (the biscuits) and he was so happy eating them; making those om nom nom chewing sound. (Y). and met up with ian ytd. SATC 2 was pretty good but it's a tad too long. treated my parents to japanese cuisine today. had unagi (vegetarian, duh) for the first time in my life. not bad. miso soup was yum. would go back again.
