this week (aka first week of hols) has been merry, haha with all the much needed sleep and catching up with friends. anyhow, this will be a wordy entry, so brace yourself.

yesterday 130608

friday the thirteenth was spent with the lovely movie kakis. no highlights though since we didnt know where to go, what to do etc. met up with all (minus char, lm and stanven) at dhoby, idled arnd. wanted to catch a movie initially but FRIDAY= TGIF= CROWDS. so the timings were no good, mus (pronounced as 'moose') suggested having dinner at popeye's.

since we had time to spare while waiting for the rest, we walked there. from dhoby. well, not that far but it's not that near either. stopped over at esplanade to meet up with lm and char before continuing the walk. we literally walked from when the sky was bright till the sun set and we were greeted by this tremendous crowd at popeye's. you'd think that they serve superb food or that everything was going for free but sadly it was neither (to me lah). stood arnd while waiting for seats. waited arnd somemore while the kind mus queued. so we ate ate ate gossipped gossipped gossiped laughed laughed laughed before walking back to esplanade to meet stanven.

didnt know where to go after that. sat arnd taking photos, before heading up the sky roof or smth, sat arnd somemore. lm was hurrying us to think of some place to go. but everywhere was crowded so we were like walking to this destination and then sitting down for awhile before moving on to another and repeating the motion. haha. yes, it bored the hell out of us but well. i swear an itinery/program will be drawn up the next time we meet up to prevent this from happening again. ;D

thursday 120608

met up with peggy for kbox. it was pretty fun but we ran out of songs to sing plus the room was really too damn cold. coming from someone who should totally be born in alaska or smth (i. yours truly), the room is indeed cold. my head hurt from the cold and for once, im glad to be back in the heat under the blazing sun. oh and the bill came come to $20+ per person and we reckon the 'other charges' was due to some additional services offered to us, hahaha

yeah, so we gathered that we wouldnt be up for kbox for at least 2-3 months. trained to MB before parting ways at AMK.
